This page explains what happens to your information when you visit itdepends.design or get in touch. Short version: the site uses no cookies, doesn’t track you across other sites, and doesn’t sell or share your data for advertising.

Who is responsible

What’s collected, and why

• Anonymous visit statistics. Pages visited, where the visit came from (for example LinkedIn), device type, browser and country, measured with Umami. No cookies are used and nothing is stored on your device. The data can’t be used to identify you. Why: to understand which parts of the site are useful and improve them (legitimate interest).
• Technical logs. The hosting provider, Vercel, keeps short-lived logs, including IP addresses and browser details, to run and protect the site. Why: security and keeping the site working (legitimate interest).
• Emails you send. Your name, email address and whatever you write. Why: to reply and to talk about a possible project (steps before a contract, or legitimate interest).
• Calls you book. Your name, email and the time you pick, handled by Google Calendar’s booking page. Why: to hold the call (steps before a contract).

No automated decisions or profiling are made about you.

Who else handles the data

• Vercel Inc. (hosting), USA
• Umami Software (anonymous statistics), data stored in the EU
• Google LLC (email and calendar), USA

Where data goes to the USA, it’s protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

How long it’s kept

• Visit statistics: 6 months.
• Emails and booking details: as long as needed for the conversation and any project that follows, then deleted.
• Technical logs: as set by Vercel’s policy (short-term).

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format. Write to hello@itdepends.design; you’ll get an answer within one month.

If you’re unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to Moldova’s National Centre for Personal Data Protection (datepersonale.md), or to the data protection authority in your EU country.

Selling and sharing

Your personal data is never sold, and never shared for advertising.

“Do Not Track”

The site doesn’t track visitors across other sites, so a browser’s “Do Not Track” signal doesn’t change anything here.

Children

This site isn’t aimed at children under 16 (EU) or under 13 (US), and doesn’t knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this page

If this page changes, the effective date at the top changes too.
